Tri-Phase Performance Module for 2003-2008 Infiniti G35
Editorial Review :: The Tri-Phase module utilizes a triad of operating parameters that enable the user to select their desired performance level. The Tri-Phase functions by intercepting sensor outputs, modifying them, and outputting them to the vehicle's onboard computer. The Tri-Phase module is also compatible with most popular performance upgrades such as aftermarket intake, exhaust, and ignition systems, low boost forced induction systems, lightened and/or underdrive pulley kits, grounding kits, and many others. The Tri-Phase enhances performance in multiple ways. First, it modifies signals being read by the ECU, causing an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what creates the increase in horsepower and torque, as well as improves throttle response and shift speed. When the ECU sees these modified signals it provides a different set of fuel and ignition maps than it would under factory operating conditions. A second feature of the Tri-Phase is it's "High-Heat Signal Correction." In short, when the engine compartment heats up, some sensors that relay pertinent fuel curve contingent information to the ECU begin to lose accuracy due to heat absorption into the sensor. The ECU then reads these incorrect signals, and leans out, or otherwise incorrectly alters the fuel curve, which hampers performance. These errors cannot be corrected from within the computer, there must be an independent unit to correct these errors. The Tri-Phase is designed to automatically compensate for these signal errors. Additionally, our easy to follow, step-by-step instructions will allow you to get your module installed in about 20 minutes, even if you don't have any mechanical experience. Share price performance following actual share repurchases [An article from: Journal of Banking and Finance]
Editorial Review :: This digital document is a journal article from Journal of Banking and Finance, published by Elsevier in 2005. The article is delivered in HTML format and is available in your Amazon.com Media Library immediately after purchase. You can view it with any web browser.
Description:
Using unique actual daily share repurchase data from Hong Kong, this paper investigates share price performance surrounding and following actual share repurchases. It is found that repurchasing firms buy back shares following price drops, suggesting that they behave opportunistically when implementing actual share repurchases. On average, the initial 3-day market response to actual repurchases is about 0.43%. Repurchasing firms do not seem to exhibit superior abnormal performance over long horizons when they make actual share repurchases. However, the price performance of repurchasing firms varies across firm size and market-book value ratios, and shows a clear and consistent pattern. The market responds the most favorably to repurchases that are made by small and value (high book-to-market value) firms. Over a long horizon, there is some evidence that repurchases made by value firms show superior performance. The three-year buy-and-hold abnormal return, which is measured against a portfolio of control firms that are matched by size and book-to-market value ratios, is over 20%. At least, repurchases made by high book-to-market value firms, for which undervaluation is more likely to occur, can benefit long-term shareholders.

Zino Francescatti In Performance
Zino Francescatti (1902-1991) was one of the great violinists of the twentieth century. Though perhaps somewhat thrown into the shade during his active concert career, as were many virtuosi, by the towering figure of Heifetz, he now more than holds his own on his numerous recordings, which may especially appeal to those connoisseurs of violin playing who find Heifetz a bit too overbearing.
These recordings of three warhorses of the Romantic violin concerto repertoire are taken from various live broadcasts. In the Tchaikovsky and Bruch especially the violinist's warmth of tone, ingratiating phrasing and technical accuracy--remember, these are live performances--are certainly impressive, with the Adagio of the Bruch being especially touching. The American orchestras play with involvement under the batons of Rodzinski and Frank Black respectively, and the period monophonic sound has been cleaned up without compromising the vividness of the solo instrument.
Francescatti's studio recording of the Saint-Saens B minor Concerto with Mitropoulos was highly acclaimed and remains a classic; the live performance on this CD with Charles Munch does nothing to supplant it, partly because the broadcast sound is much lower in quality than in the other two performances on this disc, being muffled and congested, with the solo violin frequently covered, but also because for whatever reason Francescatti sounds much less secure here, with one or two passages in the middle movement going off-kilter and a noticeable number of off-center notes and missed shifts sprinkled throughout. Still, this recording overall is worth hearing as more than just a historical document. The packaging of the CD, incidentally, is deluxe, with a lengthy essay on Francescatti by the late Henry Roth that originally appeared in the Strad magazine, though the recordings discussed do not include the ones actually on the CD.

Otto High Performance Isolating Earbud - Green
These headphones suck. I'm using them with a new ipod shuffle and there is a bunch of crackling static coming from both ears. I've tried 2 pairs of this same brand with different sources other then an ipod shuffle and I get the same crackling static.
These should be $10, not $50.
