This horn is loud! It's your best truck option as far as I could tell until you move up to the much larger compressor driven horns with seperate air tanks. Installation was tricky in the sense that hard to locate the components. After that things went quickly. I tapped the hot lead on my existing horn for a the on/off signal to the relay and it seems to work great. I can't wait until the first person pull out in front of me towing my boat, on the phone texting!

Be advised that the horn is almost 16" long. I personally liked that as it deepened the tone but also be advised that it is in no way a deep tone. This has got to be the best "bang for you buck" truck horn that exists.

i have a 96 ford explorer and the old horn was set up right above the drivers wheel well behind the bumper so thats where i decided to set up the air horns. One i had all the wireing done I tested the horn and they are extremely loud. During the installation i was working in my garage because it was freezing outside.I then mounted the horns, tested again and everything worked perfectly. Excited about my new horn i went out for a spin and tried blaring the horn and All i got was one loud honk. It sounds like only the smaller horn is honking. When i bought the car back inside it worked perfectly. I now have the horn set up in my enginge compartment to keep it warm but it still doesnt work and when it does it isnt as loud because the engine noise... I am not pleased at all. I gave it 2 stars only because the horn itself was loud when it worked inside
