Wow-this is one of the loudest horns ever, then it quits working. I've had two-the first one went down as well. They are hard to mount as well, because they don't supply any hardware to attach it, go figure>!>

I bought this horn about 6 months ago and I still love it! The horn looked great right out of the box and it gets even better when you hear it for the first time. I bought this horn because in the past I have had two distracted drivers hit my truck because they were not paying attention. That is why I felt this horn will grab any distracted drivers attention, and believe me it does! I placed this horn under the radiator mounts so it wasnt noticeable and easier to hookup in the engine compartment. The mounting time of the horn and compressor only took me about 15 minutes as long as you find out where you want to locate it. The major task was to wire the system in correctly with the minimal instructions you recieve. If you need any help just call the customer service number because that is what I did. Connecting the electric took about an hour but was well worth the time. I used 16 gauge wire and an 15 amp inline fuse from the battery *(if you are not comfortable or do not know what you are doing with electric, please get this installed by a professional!)*. I also connected this horn to a switch inside the cab so that I would not have to dissconnect my steering wheel horn incase of a sudden emergency. The most important thing is that you mount the horn away from where rain will get into the opening, thats why I monted mine sideways. Also I mounted mine on a downward slant so if any condinsation or any rain some how got inside the barrel of the horn it would drip out before it ruins the solinoid. This is a VERY LOUD HORN.. tho I wish that the tone was just a slight bit deeper, I still love it tho... Shipping took a long time from UPS, not the sellers fault tho. Six months later the horn still works great with just the need of a little polish to the horn. Over all this is a great buy and well worth the money if you want people to hear you coming and avoid an unwanted accident due to typical distracted drivers!

i have a 96 ford explorer and the old horn was set up right above the drivers wheel well behind the bumper so thats where i decided to set up the air horns. One i had all the wireing done I tested the horn and they are extremely loud. During the installation i was working in my garage because it was freezing outside.I then mounted the horns, tested again and everything worked perfectly. Excited about my new horn i went out for a spin and tried blaring the horn and All i got was one loud honk. It sounds like only the smaller horn is honking. When i bought the car back inside it worked perfectly. I now have the horn set up in my enginge compartment to keep it warm but it still doesnt work and when it does it isnt as loud because the engine noise... I am not pleased at all. I gave it 2 stars only because the horn itself was loud when it worked inside
